Karthik Ganesh is a Director of Photography, based in Mumbai, India.

Originally from Chennai, he joined the Film & Television Institute of India, Pune in 2004, and has been working as an independent Cinematographer since 2009.

His works include Aurangzeb, a Hindi feature film shot for Yash Raj Films, 69 Patla Khan Lane, a Bengali film shot in Bangladesh, and Powder, a 26 episode TV series shot for YRF TV amongst other Ads and Documentaries for clients like Discovery Channel, TVS Motors, Vodafone, Lifebuoy, Guinness Beer.

He is currently working on his second Hindi feature film titled ‘Bombairiya’

Most of the photographs showcased here, were shot on film and are more than ten years old. Incidentally the most colorful section of the website ‘At home with colors’ .is the youngest, and shot digitally

Photoshop has been used only for reframing or cleaning the physical dust of scans from old prints.
